TO FURTHER EXPLORE AND UNDERSTAND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF ACOUSTIC AND LIGHTING WITHIN A SPACE AND THE COMFORT LEVELS REQUIRED FOR EACH TYPE OF SPACE.







Project 1 : Lighting & Acoustics Performance Evaluation and Design
- In a group, students are required to identify and understand the characteristics and functional requirements of day-lighting and lighting requirement, indoor and outdoor acoustic in a suggested space, by using proper research methodology and comparison with precedents studies.
Project 2 : On-Site Assignment: Lighting and Acoustic
-In a group, students are required to study Light and Acoustics properties of the respective sites for their integration project.
Project 3: Integration with design studio 5
-The project aims to integrate the understanding of the principles of lighting and acoustics in the context of the final design studio 5 project. It encompasses advanced daylighting systems and the integration of electrical lighting. Strategies for noise management and room acoustics where necessary.
