THEORIES OF ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM VENTURING INTO A THEMATIC INQUIRY INTO

ARCHITECTURAL THEORY IN A BROADER CONTEXT OF PHILOSOPHICAL SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT

AND CULTURAL AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS, WHICH INCLUDE MODERNISM, POSTMODERNISM,

PHENOMENOLOGY, SEMIOTICS, POST-STRUCTURALISM, AND DECONSTRUCTION.

PROJECT PART I: ANALYSING SELF 

 

-To provide information on the architect in order to comprehend personal attributes that contribute to the construction of architectural theory. At first students required to gather information in a group of 3 about the architect and his/her Biodata, work, list of  references.

 

-The second part  (Analyse self) is for each student to work on the architect  childhood, Education or working experience. 

 

PROJECT PART II: ANALYZING AND THEORIZING ARCHITECTURE 

 

 

-To analyse the architecture work based on the chosen architect, to choose a particular building by the architect and to analyse the theories of the architect based on the self & architecture analysis.
